Hello there. ✌
My name is Artjom!
I'm a communication specialist and creative mind for marketing tasks in games & esport.
Equipped with a gamer's heart and 6+ years worth of experience points in the industry, I offer innovative and creative solutions to promote your game or your brand communicating authentically to the video game community.
My work is characterized by unique visuals and compelling messages that engage and impress the gaming community – all with a smile and a dose of fun. I like to have fun while working and emphasize to infuse this into my craft and daily work life as much as possible.
From concept development over influencer activation up until to campaign strategy and execution, I guarantee creative excellence that presents your brand or game at the highest level and tons of smiles along the way.
Partners I’ve worked with throughout the years:
Production at the LEC studios Berlin. Collaboration w/ Riot Games.
The quest to find the right place.
I always knew I wanted to work with video games. It was the core motivation in choosing my university, where I live and also my main focus throughout my entire “career”.
BUT in the beginning I didn't know how and where I can fulfill my dream.
Programming? 🧑💻 Too dumb for that.
Design? 🎨 Not talented enough.
But I can talk, write, think creatively and most importantly !
So I started to look for opportunities in the industry where I get paid for talking about stuff I know about, creating communication plans and dive deep into the ecosystem of games.
Luckily, I had a lot of opportunities to get insights from different branches of the industry:
-
During my bachelor studies, I completed an internship as a Video Game Editor at Rocket Beans Entertainment GmbH. There I reviewed games, interviewed developers and reported on events such as E3 and Gamescom 2018 for the publicly funded show "GameTwo".
I got an insight into the day-to-day business of game press and media while working with developers and PR representatives. Not only were these my first real steps in the industry, but I also made long lasting contacts with various industry folks from e.g. Square Enix, Webedia and Ubisoft.
-
After my bachelor's thesis on gaming influencers, I joined the marketing team at Ubisoft Blue Byte as an intern and later joined the Ubisoft studio in Düsseldorf as a Communications Coordinator, working on titles such as ANNO, Rainbow Six Siege, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin's Creed Nexus VR.
As go-to person for local comms tasks I was responsible for the internal and external communication flow of 400+ on-site employees. Besides usual studio updates and hosting monthly showcases I was also 'lucky' to handle the studio communication surrounding Covid and the aftermaths.
Besides that I was also happy to support our Event team setting up the Ubisoft Düsseldorf streaming room and be a producer during our Gamescom 2020 Career Livestream, Ubisoft Newcomer Award and Anno 1800 Masterclass.
-
In order to understand how campaigns and strategies are brought to life by games marketeers and brand managers, I happily joined the Esport and Gaming agency build a rocket GmbH as an Esports & Gaming Creative.
This not only allowed me to integrate Esports – one of my passions – more into my everyday life, but also to realise campaigns, event booths, stunts and activations myself. Thus learning more about it than I imagined.
I was very fortunate to work on a wide range of topics and brands in multiple positions: As Director of productions, Lead Creative during Pitches and RFPs, Copywriter, Producer and more. -
After moving to beautiful Copenhagen, Denmark I joined the amazing crew at Invisible Walls ApS as Brand & Community Manager and helped launching their next game Neighbors: Suburban Warfare into Early Access.
As Community Manager I took over daily communication to our player base in our own community Discord server with over 23.000 members. As the “face” of the team I went live on Twitch, creating video updates or organizing playtests with the community.
On the Brand manager side I collaborated with our PR agency and handled primarily the creator management and our Steam store page and offline events.
Besides our launch activation with some of the biggest streamers from the US (e.g. Ludwig) I also handled the outreach to creators leading to over 2 million hours of watch time during the launch period.
